One of India's largest precision engineering and manufacturing SEZs has asked us to provide temporary internet connectivity as well as livestreaming the groundbreaking ceremony of their proposed special economic zone, which will be located 18 kilometres far outside the city. The event planners considered a number of options for connecting the event venue with a gigabit Ethernet backbone. The local cable provider, a competitive local exchange carrier, and a wireless solution were among the choices.
As a result of the survey, our ground IT team agreed to build a high-capacity, reliable, and cost-effective point to point wireless network infrastructure in a smaller duration of time. Point to point wireless links are a key element for on-site network delivering service to remote areas. Each link can be setup in direct point to point (A to B) mode or point to multi points (A to many Bs).
We use point-to-multipoint technology to link sites up to 40 kilometres apart and provide a multi network experience with data transmission speeds of up to 300 Mbps. In the surrounding area, connectivity can be temporarily built in a school building which is 600 meters far away from the event venue.
The deployment includes the next generation cambium & Ubiquiti point to point series radios for the data connectivity which delivers over the air data rate of up to 300 Mbps with carrier class performance.
Eventinternet.in provided a primary connection with over 150 Mbps and secondary LTE Bonding Internet at 50 Mbps.
This enabled thousands of invited VIPs and press with high-speed internet with a failover in case of any issues.
Our network design team worked closely with event organisers to design an event network that was capable of supporting Gigabit internal networking enabling high-speed internet for live streaming.
Engineers were present throughout the event, working in shifts, covering over 24 hours of live to ensure the event ran smoothly and were on hand if any problems arose.
